What we keep

• Your email address, so you can sign in and hear when someone wants to borrow.
• The name and initials you choose, which other families see.
• Your WhatsApp number, only if you add one.
• Each child’s first name, surname initial, school and class. No age, no photos.
• The books and cards you add, who borrowed what and when, and your reviews.

Who sees it

• Families at your school see your name, your books and cards, and your reviews. A review says “Year 1 child”, never your child’s name.
• Your child’s name is only ever shown to you.
• Your WhatsApp number is shown only to a family you are lending to or borrowing from, until a week after the book or card comes back.
• Your email address is never shown to other families.

What we don’t do

• No adverts, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
• The only cookies are the ones that sign you in and keep you signed in.

Where it lives

The library runs on Vercel (the website), Supabase (the database and sign-in) and SendGrid (the emails). They hold it for us and use it for nothing else.

Deleting it

Go to Account and tap Delete my family. Your details, your children, your books and cards, your requests and your reviews are removed at once, and your sign-in goes with them. Titles you added stay in the shared list of books and cards, without your name.

When a child leaves Year 6, mark them as left and their details go too. Anything else, or a question: ask the parent who shared the link with you, or contact Pavel.
